Yoga and Surfing
Tuesdays in July 4:00-6:00pm
We will meet at Jenness Beach in Rye and start with a short yoga class in the sand to awaken the body & mind in preparation for learning the powerful sport of surfing. We will then learn the fundamentals of surfing in a safe and fun environment. On the beach we will go over safety, surfing etiquette and surfing techniques. Our lessons are in-depth and are about an 1.5 long. Come prepared to fall in love with surfing...
Cost includes yoga class, surf instruction, wetsuit and surfboard rental. *Open to all levels of yoga experience and the only prerequisite for the surf lesson is the ability to swim and the desire to learn to surf. A discounted rate will be given to those who do not need to rent gear. Workshop is weather dependent. Yoga on the Hill
Saturdays 9:30am, June 21 - July 26
Meet at Garrison Hill in Dover at 9:30am for an hour of yoga under the sun!
Class is weather dependent. If weather is questionable, please call 603 781 4780 (carrie's cell phone) or kyle's cell phone : 512 7072. All classes will be hatha flow yoga classes and will be geared towards the group.

About the Instructors
KYLE CAMIRE-COTE
recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in
Sociology and Outdoor Education. She is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for hiking, surfing and
yoga. She has participated in numerous outdoor adventure programs locally and abroad.
CARRIE TYLER, RYT, PYT Dover Yoga and Dover Pilates owner and studio director has been practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2000. As the creator of Rasa Yoga she is known for her playful style of teaching, her strong knowledge of anatomy and alignment, and her understanding of yogic philosophy. Her passion for anatomy and movement comes from her kinesiology background and experience over the last 15 years in modern & African dance, aerial fabric, classical figure drawing, and studies in various forms of yoga, including: Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini, Kali Ray & Sivananda. It is her belief that yoga is appropriate for every body and that through the process of yoga one can unleash their true energetic and creative potential. Carrie considers yoga and complimentary healing therapies to be preventative medicine, and adheres to the belief that regular practice and self care can reconcile many imbalances and dis“eases” of the body. She has her 500hr PYT (professional yoga therapist) and 200hr RYT certification through Integrative Yoga Therapy, and is currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science/ Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire. Carrie also holds certification in Pilates through the Power Pilates Institute, Prenatal Yoga, Thai Bodywork, and Reiki. In addition to teaching yoga classes, leading workshops and retreats, Carrie trains future yoga teachers alongside Daniel Orlansky in a 200hr yoga teacher training, The Yoga of Energy Flow. She is available for private consultations and specializes in creating programs for those with medical concerns, injury rehabilitation, and structural issues.
