We know it’s scary… let us guess in your head it goes something like this… you are going to walk into a big giant room where everyone seems to already know each other, taught by an instructor who is going to ask you to do 5000 abdominal crunches and that you'll be the only one writhing on the floor in pain….We remember what the first time is like… we promise we are nice people and we never laugh… okay, well almost never…Because of this Dover Yoga & Dover Pilates offer many options for beginners…Remember we all start somewhere, and the beginning is the always best place to start….. For those looking to start Pilates with other beginners in a gentle practice we offer a four week beginner’s series which runs one to two times a semester. THERE IS CURRENTLY NOT A BEGINNER PILATES CLASS SCHEDULED BUT THERE WILL BE SOON For those looking to start right away in ongoing classes we recommend the following classes: Pilates Mat I or Yogalates. Visit the schedule and class description pages for more details. For those looking to start in a more private setting, individualized private sessions are available. This is a great way to gain confidence and strength and learn the language of yoga.
