ANNIE WAGONER started practicing yoga and pilates in 2001 to help aid in her training as a field hockey player and rower in college. After graduating in 2002 with a degree in psychology, she worked as a wilderness counselor at an emotional growth boarding school in Western Massachusetts where she nurtured her passions for the outdoors, exercise and working with people; Annie helped to empower youth to learn how to better take care of themselves – physically, mentally and emotionally. She, along with some other counselors, taught yoga, pilates and other forms of exercise outside to struggling teens and encouraged them to incorporate the practice into their own paths of healing. Annie is currently enrolled in the 200-hr Yoga of Energy Flow teacher training at Dover Yoga and is also planning to obtain her Pilates mat certification through the Boston Bodyworks/Power Pilates Studio. Annie strongly believes in the power of the mind/body connection and looks forward to sharing her passion of yoga and pilates with others. She lives in Dover with her husband, Brian, their son, Jack, and their 2 dogs. |
